There are so many excellent players out there, and so many excellent resources for listing them, so we won't try to duplicate that here. Instead, here are a few sites from our friends that you may not know but really should!
Carmen Amrein
We met Carmen at the Southern California Harvest Festival of Dulcimers in 2010. She is outstanding hackbrett player, and also a terrifically talented hammered dulcimer player too! Carmen is from Munich, Germany, so don't be surprised that her website is in German. (Hey, it will give you a chance to practice your long-lapsed Deutch!)
Patti Amelotte
You know how you meet somebody and it just "clicks?" Well, that's the way it was when we first met Patti at the Summer Solstice Festival in California way back in 1991! Patti plays so many instruments so well that it's kind of ridiculous! If you are a fan of traditional Irish music, be sure to check her out!
Dulcimer Builders
There are plenty of excellent dulcimer builders out there! Just check out this list of hammered dulcimer builders and makers from the Official Hammered Dulcimer Web Site! Kendra prefers the sound of "floating top" dulcimers, and recommends these two builders.
